Passive fire training and CPDs

We invest a substantial amount of our time devising and delivering training sessions. Global Technical Services (GTS) strongly believe in personal development and improving fire safety knowledge in all sectors.

It’s important for Fire and Rescue Services to receive this form of training as it’s an aspect of fire safety they are not trained in. Providing this information to them ensures a better understanding of the fire safety industry, and allows for improved levels of safety for the general public.

At GTS, we believe that providing this training for companies like the NHS and housing associations allows for fire safety knowledge and procedures to be improved in different sectors. By improving fire safety of different sectors, we are allowing for the safety of the wider society, therefore reinforcing our motto that ‘fire safety is our whole business’.

Global Academy

Global HSE Group are setting the bar high in the fire industry, with the introduction of the Global Academy.

We have created, and deliver accredited and professional qualifications for the fire safety and protection industry. The objective is to upskill and enhance individual knowledge within in the industry, ensuring the integrity of the buildings and ultimately protecting lives.

With an extensive and impressive background having been involved in fire for 25 years, Ross has worked in numerous senior positions within fire safety, training, and operations; in the military and the local authority.

Bruce worked for Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Service for almost 20 years. Progressing from Fire Fighter, to Fire Engineer, he headed up the commercial arm of the Fire Service in Newcastle

Jody has worked in Technical Management for over 25 years, managing multimillion pound projects. His specialisms are in drywall, fire barriers, fire-stopping and fire containment with extensive knowledge of the built environment. He now leads the Fire Scrutineering team, working on multiple projects.
