Our three-day structure – theoretical foundation, practical application, and skills assessment – ensures comprehensive competency development. Attendees experience genuine installation scenarios using our specialist training facility outside Nottingham, which replicates the conditions they encounter professionally.

Setting the industry standard
Quality assured, the framework for the course has been put together by passive fire safety experts, the Global HSE Group. Led by Ross O’Loughlin, the Director of Global Technical Services and previously the Chief of Staff of the fire training MOD school, and written by Nigel Craven, who was the Group Manager at West Yorkshire Fire Service.

Certification

Understand the intricacies of fire door installation and the tolerances they must work to. Learning how to install fire doors that are as close to the manufacturer’s original tested system, so that it will perform correctly in the event of a fire.

Aimed at those carrying out passive fire installation works on passive fire protection products, specifically fire stopping. Taught in a practical environment, with knowledge on fire science, health and safety, and the different types of products.
